Makeup is an essential part of a girl’s life. It helps in enhancing the physical beauty and helps in making your features appear more attractive. Several girls reserve make-up for special occasions and many apply a little every day before going to work or college. The desire to look good is a normal one because the way you look also has an effect on your mood. Looking beautiful also helps in increasing a person’s confidence.
You cannot go to parlor every day to get your makeup or hair done. It is important that girls can handle their makeup all by themselves. Here are some of the hacks that can be very helpful to every girl.
1. Turning Eyeliner Pencil into Gel Formula
The colors such as green, black, burgundy, etc. are eyeliners which make it difficult to create and apply a thin line. You can make things easier by holding them under the flame for just about one second. After heating it let it cool for fifteen seconds. After this procedure, you will see a change in consistency of the eyeliner. You can finally glide on the gel you have made and create an instant smudge formula.
2. Perfecting the Winged Liner
You can apply the perfect winged liner by holding a stem of a spoon against outer corner of the eye. Use the stem of the spoon to draw a straight line because it is the first step of getting a cat eye. The next step is using the other side of a spoon so that it hugs your eyelid. Use the rounded edge to draw a curved winged effect. This makeup hack is the best way of creating a cat eye.
3. Getting Instant Smokey Effect
Girls like to have Smokey eyes, but they may find it difficult to create it. There is an easy way of creating it. All you need to do is to draw a hashtag symbol before the outer corner of the eye. Once you have drawn it, you need to blend it out. Use a smudger to blend it and you will have the trendy smoke eyes.
4. Applying Mascara on Upper Eyelid
If you do not want to get your mascara marks on the top eyelid, then you should use the curved edge of a spoon. Hold the spoon so that it hugs your eyelids and apply mascara. As you use the mascara, you will notice that black residue coats on the back of the spoon and your upper eyelids stay clean.
5. Adding Saline Solution to Flaky Mascara
It is important to know that you are only supposed to use the mascara just for three months. After three months there is a chance of it collecting bacteria. If you see contaminated mascara, it can lead to eye infection. If you find that your mascara has become dry and flaky within the three months, you can revive it by adding a few drops of saline solution.
6. Curling the Eyelashes Perfectly
If you want to curl your eyelashes easily and make sure that they stay curled, then the best way is to blow hot air on the eyelash curler. A heated eyelash curler will make it easier to curl them because it will work similarly to the curling iron. The heat helps in changing the pattern of the hair. You can use a blow dryer to heat it. Wait for it to get a little colder, or you will end up burning your lashes. Make sure they are still warm when you clamp it down on the lashes so that they are curled.
7. Putting on False Lashes
Outing on false lashes is not an easy task. It is important that you are very carefully in applying the eyelash glue. If you do not use glue correctly, the lashes will not stick to the real lashes. To apply the glue entirely, you can use a clean bobby pin. It will help in evenly using the glue along the base of the false lashes. Wait for a few seconds so that it becomes tacky before putting them on.
8. Mixing Your Lip Gloss
If there is an eyeshade that you are obsessed with and you have loose pigments of that color, you can wear that eyeshade as a lip shade as well. All you need to do is to mix the pigment with a little amount of salve like petroleum jelly. Mix these two things with a spoon and use it as lip shade.
These hacks can help all the girls in doing the best makeup and look stylish and beautiful.
